Luc Petit Création is a Belgian artistic direction and stage directing studio specializing in the design of bespoke shows and events. The group combines a cinematic vision with a wide range of stage expertise: video mapping, acrobatic performances, pyrotechnics, music, sets, and costumes.
Expertise
- Creation and production of public or corporate shows, parades, and opening events
- Heritage and urban operas: showcasing architectural heritage through artistic performances.
- Design of exhibitions, fashion shows, product launches, and event scenography.
- Casting of international artists: dancers, acrobats, masters of ceremonies, performers, for bespoke creations.
- Creation of original soundtracks, costumes, and makeup, to fully immerse the audience in the world of the show.
Artistic approach
Luc Petit adopts a highly cinematic style of writing: his shows are designed as 360° “giant film sets,” combining actors, special effects, choreography, and technology.
Each project is conceived “tailor-made”: the concept is co-developed, technically and financially realistic, without compromising artistic ambition.
The objective: to leave a strong image in the audience’s mind, and to illustrate values or a narrative that are important to the client.
Key productions
A few examples of flagship projects:
- Inferno: opening show for the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo.
- Qing Show: a permanent show in Qingdao (China) inspired by the legend of the Eight Immortals, in a specially built theatre.
- Décrocher la lune: award-winning urban opera (Thea Award, etc.).
- Noël des Cathédrales: a tour of heritage operas in Belgian religious buildings.
Values & Mission
- A deeply human approach: Luc Petit and his team aim to create shows that inspire wonder and surprise, while being rooted in a strong narrative and emotional dimension.
- A commitment to technical innovation: integrating advanced technologies (mapping, special effects, immersive scenography) for spectacular experiences.
- A heritage and civic dimension: through the “Nocturnales,” the studio showcases architectural heritage while involving local communities.

- Member of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).
- Several international awards: Thea Awards, EuBEA, BEA World Festival, etc.
- In 2022, Luc Petit was named Knight of the Walloon Order of Merit for his contribution to showcasing Walloon heritage.
